Lauren Smith's side will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday, as their Vitality Women's FA Cup campaign came to its conclusion.

The Robins last took on Lewes less than a month ago as goals from Emily Syme and Abi Harrison made sure of the points at the Robins High Performance Centre.

Tonight sees City make their third trip of the season to The Dripping Pan, having emerged victorious in the FA Continental Tyres Cup meeting between the sides back in January after a previous trip saw the fixture postponed shortly before kick-off.

🎥 LAST TIME OUT

🆚 OUR OPPONENTS: LEWES

Formed: 2002
Stadium: The Dripping Pan
Nickname: The Rooks
Manager: Scott Booth
Finish last season: 8th

Lewes come into this evening's game on the back of a resounding victory over Cardiff City Ladies in the Vitality Women's FA Cup, ensuring progression to the quarter-finals of the competition to set up a tantalising home tie with Manchester United.

The last two league outings haven't been so kind to the Rooks though, falling to back-to-back defeats at the hands of Birmingham City and Bristol City.

Scott Booth's side currently occupy seventh place in the Barclays Women's Championship, but games in hand could seem them close the gap on the top four if results go their way.
