👀 A LOOK BACK: DURHAM WOMEN 0-3 BRISTOL CITY (Sunday, February 13th)

Abi Harrison opened the scoring in the 10th minute when she coolly lobbed the keeper after Melissa Johnson played a looping ball over the top. A significant goal, which makes her Bristol City Women's all-time record league goalscorer.

Harrison then doubled City's lead as she smashed home from close range after a ball into the box from Ella Powell. 

Aggie Beever-Jones was on hand to calmly put the game to bed minutes before the final whistle when she netted the Robins' third after she rounded the Durham keeper and slotted the ball into the empty net.

Sunday’s Championship fixture sees City Women travel to Princes Park in what will be 2nd v 4th with only two points separating the two sides.

This will be the first time these two sides have met in what is set to be an enticing fixture with both teams in fine form coming into this one.

Both teams come into this game off the back of commanding victories away from home with the Robins taking all three points in their 3-0 win against Durham and London City Lionesses smashing five past Crystal Palace in their 5-1 win at Hayes Lane.

AMY RODGERS

Rodgers has had a great start to her London City Lionesses career after joining the side back in July from Liverpool Women.

The striker has contributed to four goals already this season, scoring two and setting up two.

The 21-year-old had a positive four years at Liverpool, making 50 appearances for the Merseyside club, netting on four occasions. 

The Chester-born midfielder has also accumulated 27 appearances across England U17, U19 and the Under 21s, scoring on one occasion.
