Welsh international Esther Morgan has signed a two-year deal at Bristol City.

The 22-year-old defender joins after a spell on loan at Sheffield United last season from Hearts in Scotland.

Morgan signs fresh from being part of the historic Wales squad who took part in a major tournament for the first time in the country’s history.

She played in all three matches in the group stage of Euro 2025 and has 11 caps for Wales.

Morgan is the eighth signing of the summer for Charlotte Healy’s side.

On securing her signature, the City Head Coach said: “Esther is still a young player but has a lot of experience- we are so happy to have her on board.

“Her experience this summer with Wales I know was really special for her and will stand her in good stead for this season."

Morgan spoke of her excitement at signing for City, adding: ‘I’m delighted to be here, and I feel really settled already.

“It’s a really exciting project at the moment and I had some great conversations with Charlotte about the style of play and as a player that’s really exciting.”
