Napier signs for City.

Wing-back Jamie-Lee Napier has joined City on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old spent the last two seasons with London City Lionesses in the Barclays Women's Championship, chalking up seven goals.

Her career began with Hibernian, where a prolific partnership with Abi Harrison saw her named the league's Player of the Season and earn interest from England's top clubs. She signed for Chelsea in 2019 before heading out on loan to Birmingham City a year later.

"It feels great to be here," she said. "I've heard a lot of good things about the club and had some good conversations with Lauren [Smith] and some of the girls so I'm excited to get started.

"It's always been a good test coming up against Bristol City. I like the way the team plays and the kind of characters in the squad so it was something I really wanted to be a part of and it was a no-brainer when the option to sign came up.

"I'm really close with Abi Harrison from our time at Hibs so we've got a great bond on and off the pitch, the same with Amy Rodgers from our last two season together at London City. It's good to have some familiar faces."
