The Robins fought back from going 2-1 behind in the 82nd minute with a 93rd-minute goal from debutant Grace Clinton and a 97th-minute Abi Harrison winner.
And Head Coach Smith was delighted with the character of the squad, saying: “It’s something we haven’t done this season, to come back from a position like that and have a bit of resilience about us.
“We have to give credit to the players because they have gone all the way to the end knowing the risks that are involved and the fact that we have come back from almost losing this game, so credit is due there. They all had belief in each other.
“As soon as we got the equaliser you could see that the players had a little bite in them and they would have thrown everything at getting that winner.”
Smith went on to reflect on Clinton’s goal-scoring debut and an impressive full debut for 17-year-old Mari Ward.
