Pledgeball back for Liverpool clash.

For this weekend’s top-of-the-table clash against Liverpool at Ashton Gate we have once again teamed up with Bristol-based charity Pledgeball to bring City supporters the opportunity to WIN a signed shirt.

Pledgeball is a charity that gives football fans the platform to take a stand on sustainability. Fans can show support for their team by making a pledge to cut down their carbon emissions and help their club climb the Pledgeball League Table.

So far fans of City's women's team have made it to 10th in the Pledgeball League table and we would love to see a real push to get to the top spot.

And on Sunday Liverpool and Robins fans will go head-to-head in a Pledgeball league match to see which will pledge to save the most carbon emissions.

City fans have potential to make significant change:  

• One capacity Ashton Gate’s worth of fans simply switching to using a shampoo bar saves the same amount of carbon emissions as taking over 85 cars off the road.
• One Ashton Gate’s worth of fans switching to using a reusable cup equates to taking over 640 cars off the road.
• One Ashton Gate’s worth of fans switching to buying second-hand clothes equates to taking over 2,100 cars off the road.

The impact you can have by carrying out your pledge not only reduces emissions, but stretches beyond just your own action through the influence it has on friends, family and beyond.
