️ Powell arrives in the West Country.

The 21-year-old arrives at Bristol City to further bolster Lauren Smith’s attacking options ahead of the 21/22 campaign.

“I’m excited for a new challenge in my career at Bristol City,” said Powell.

“I’ve worked with Lauren (Smith) before in the national team set-up, which was a huge draw in me coming to the club and I’m eager to grow and develop as a player under her this season.

“I’m determined to kick on this year on the pitch and establish myself as a key member of the squad, with the hope my performances at club level for Bristol City will lead to more international caps with Wales.”

Powell has been capped twice at senior international level by Wales as well as representing her country at the Under-17 and Under-19 age groups.   

The forward progressed through the Cardiff City Academy, before taking her talents stateside to play for NCCA college outfit Georgia State Panthers.

Powell returned to the UK in June 2019 to play for Lewes FC in the FA Championship prior to a move to Charlton Athletic for the 2020/21 campaign.
