Bristol City host Blackburn Rovers at Ashton Gate on Sunday, October 13th (2pm).
The Robins come into this one off the back of two positive results, after a 1-1 draw and extra point penalty win over Women’s Super League side Leicester City in the League Cup, and their 4-2 victory at Sheffield United last week, City’s first three points of the campaign, and Steve Kirby’s first as Head Coach.
Lexi Lloyd-Smith and Amalie Thestrup both scored in the win over The Blades, continuing their fine start to the season in front of goal, bagging three and two respectively in all competitions so far.
Fans favourites Ffion Morgan and Abi Harrison will be looking to kick on after also scoring their first goals of the campaign last week.

Blackburn Rovers were long-term members of the English top division before its rebrand to the WSL in 2011, the same year they were relegated.
They were known as Blackburn Rovers Ladies until their application to change their name to Blackburn Rovers Women FC was approved by The FA in 2023.
Rovers were promoted from the Women’s National League North in 2019 and, after a few seasons of fighting for survival in the Championship, finished comfortably midtable in Head Coach Simon Parker’s first full season at the helm last year.
Parker’s side have had a difficult start to this campaign, losing three of their first four games.
