Previous meeting

The Vixen’s lost 2-0 to the Blues when the sides met in January, but City Women were unlucky not to leave Solihull with something to show from the game, as Birmingham took the points on the day in a scrappy contest.

Today’s meeting

This is City Women’s first league fixture since February, but the squad have been busy on the international stage during the break with a number of players involved in a number of fixtures across the globe.

Birmingham City make the journey south on a high, having defeated Liverpool 4-0 on Sunday in WSL 1. Goals from Rachel Williams, Paige Williams, Jess Carter and England striker Ellen White secured victory for the Blues, who currently sit 5th in the league.

One-to-watch:

Ellen White – The 28-year-old has been capped by England 71 time thus far, scoring an impressive 24 goals along the way. White has scored eight goals in just nine games this season after returning from injury earlier in the year.

Tickets are available on the gate at the Stoke Gifford Stadium.
