Bristol City are back at Ashton Gate for the first time this season as they host Nottingham Forest on Saturday, September 27th (6pm).

City are on a run of back-to-back league wins after a 2-0 triumph over Portsmouth at the Robins High Performance Centre, and last week's late 1-0 victory over Southampton at St Mary’s.

Healy’s side extended their good run of form with a 2-2 draw with Birmingham City at St Andrew’s in the Subway League Cup thanks to Olivia Johnson’s first goal for the club, and Lexi Lloyd-Smith’s second in as many games after her winner against The Saints last week.

OUR OPPONENTS: NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Nottingham Forest announced last year that from the beginning of the 2025/26 season, they would become a professional side and play all home games at the City Ground.

This news was followed by a successful season, in which they won the Women’s National League Northern Premier Division title and were promoted to the second tier for the first time.

The Reds have had a mixed start to the season, losing two and winning two from their opening four games in all competitions, including a 2-1 win over Newcastle United in the Subway League Cup during the week.

There are a few familiar faces to City in the visiting ranks, with Chloe Mustaki and Amy Rodgers making their return to BS3 after joining Forest from The Robins in the summer.
