The Vixens will be looking to secure all three points in an effort to climb up the WSL 1 table.
Previous meeting
The Vixen’s lost 5-0 to the Royals when the sides last met in November at the Stoke Gifford Stadium, City Women created plenty of chances on the evening and will be hoping to convert those chances this time around.
Today’s meeting
Last week’s defeat to Sunderland saw the Vixens drop to ninth in the table, whilst Reading Ladies are two points ahead in seventh.
A win for City Women could put them level on points with Birmingham City Ladies in sixth providing results are favorable elsewhere in the league.
One-to-watch:
Brooke Chaplen – The 27-year-old signed for Reading after her contract with Sunderland expired in 2016 and is the Royals top scorer so far this term.
Chaplen is no stranger to success, having won the FA Cup with Everton back in 2010.
