Bristol City are back in action as they make the trip to Southampton in the Third Round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup on Sunday, December 8th (1pm).
Steve Kirby’s side come into this one on the back of a strong run of form, winning five of their last seven games in all competitions.
Ffion Morgan, Ella Powell and Tianna Teisar will be looking to carry over their momentum from the International Break, having all been in the Wales squad as they qualified for the European Championships for the first time in their history.

Nickname: The Saints
Manager: Remi Allen

Southampton were promoted to the Barclays Women’s Championship in 2022 and have established themselves in the second tier since.
Remi Allen was appointed as Head Coach in July after Marieanne Spacey-Cale, who led Saints to a 4th place finish last season, took up the role of Director of Women’s Football at the club.
Allen’s side have endured a mixed start to the campaign and find themselves sixth in the League after nine games, but are unbeaten in four games coming into this one, including the 4-0 demolition of South Coast rivals Portsmouth prior to the International Break.
Southampton and City played out a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the League season, with Aimee Palmer and Lexi Lloyd-Smith both scoring against their respective former clubs at St Mary’s.
