Bristol City return to BS3 as they host Southampton at Ashton Gate on Sunday, February 15th (2pm).

Charlotte Healy will be keen to see a reaction from her side after The Robins were beaten for the first time in 2026 last time out, losing 2-1 to Crystal Palace in South London.

City had been in almost perfect form prior to the defeat to The Eagles, winning three and drawing one of their four games since the Christmas hiatus.

Sunday will be the third meeting between The Robins and The Saints this season, with Lexi Lloyd-Smith’s late winner in September in the Barclays WSL2, and Emily Syme’s brace in the Adobe FA Cup last month enough to see City over the line in both games.

OUR OPPONENTS: SOUTHAMPTON

Southampton were promoted to WSL2 in 2022, and have steered well clear of any relegation trouble since.

In 2024, they pushed for promotion but eventually fizzled out, finishing fourth but just six points behind Crystal Palace, who were promoted to the WSL as champions.

Former Blackburn Rovers boss Simon Parker took over from Marieanne Spacey as Head Coach in the summer, and has had a good season to date, with his Saints side sitting comfortably mid-table at the midway point.
