Bristol City host Sunderland in their final home match of the season at Ashton Gate on Sunday, April 27th (2pm).
The Robins’ home form has been impressive this campaign, with Steve Kirby’s side losing only once in BS3, and the City Head Coach expressed his excitement at getting back in front of the fans for the final time in 2024/25.
“I’m expecting us to be better and a lot cleaner in our work, especially being at home and on our pitch. We love playing there and playing in front of our fans,” Kirby said after the 1-1 draw at Portsmouth last week.
OUR OPPONENTS: SUNDERLAND
Founded: 1989

Sunderland finished third in the Barclays Women’s Championship last season, narrowly missing out on promotion and recording their highest finish since relegation from the Women's Super League in 2018.
Melanie Reay’s side have had a more mixed season this time out and haven't really troubled either the promotion or relegation places, finding themselves 7th with two games to play.
The reverse fixture in the North East was a seven-goal thriller, with The Lasses coming out 4-3 winners after two braces from Eleanor Dale and Katie Kitching cancelled out goals from Mari Ward, Ffion Morgan and Lexi Loyd-Smith.
