Tottenham Hotspur Women were formed in 1985 as Broxbourne Ladies by the late Sue Sharples and Kay Lovelock after the East Herts College team folded.
At the start of the 1992/93 season the 'Tottenham Hotspur' name was granted permission for use.
Spurs' success has come in more recent years, they gained promotion to the top flight of women's football in 2019 after finishing second in the then, FA Women's Championship division.
Last campaign, Tottenham Hotspur finished 11th in the Women's Super League, but a remarkable FA Cup run led to their first FA Cup final.
They were however, comfortably beaten 4-0 against Manchester United with over 76,000 in attendance.
