Report: City Women play second pre-season friendly at Forest.

City Women travelled to Northern Premier Division side Nottingham Forest on Sunday as preparations continued for the Barclays Women's Championship season continued.

Forest scored once in each half to secure victory, with City making 10 substitutions throughout the match, including valuable minutes for four academy players.

The match was played at Grange Park in Long Eaton, with Forest set to start their new campaign at the weekend.

Supporters have the first chance to see Lauren Smith's side in action on Sunday, September 1st at Ashton Gate, before they take to the field in the opening match at Southampton a week later.
