The forward made 17 Barclays FAWSL appearances for the Robins over the last two seasons and most notably netted an extra-time winner against Durham in the fourth round of the 2020 Women’s FA Cup.
Robinson is a product of the Bristol City Women Academy and has represented the Young Lionesses at Under-17 and Under-18 level.
The striker, who has been attending SGS College alongside playing, has decided to move on despite a vested interest and an offer from the club to retain her services.
City Manager Tanya Oxtoby said: “Katie is a fantastic young dual career athlete with amazing potential, and to see her develop both on and off the pitch the last two seasons within our environment has been a pleasure to be a part of.
“She was part of the club’s plans for next season and we are disappointed she has decided to move on and we won’t be able to continue to be a part of her development. We do however respect her decision to seek a new challenge elsewhere and wish her all the best with her future.”
