Simpson returns to Manchester United.

Jess Simpson has returned to Manchester United following an injury sustained against Southampton in last week’s FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup tie.

The wing-back, who also featured off the bench against Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the Barclays Women’s Super League, has re-joined her parent club to complete her rehabilitation programme after a scan revealed she had suffered ligament damage.
