The Robins sealed the Barclays Women’s Championship title and promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League in style against Charlton Athletic in front of a record Ashton Gate crowd.

City delighted the 7,045-strong crowd with a performance capped by goals from Grace Clinton, Abi Harrison, Brooke Aspin and Ffion Morgan that merited their title as champions with one game remaining.

And Head Coach Smith was thrilled, saying: “It feels amazing and it's because of every everyone around - the 7,000 that are stood behind me, all of the players and staff.  We knew that we were ambitious this year, and without saying it, this is what we wanted all along. I absolutely knew we had the staff, the players and the club to do it.

“It’s been very twisty-turny and I think, when we look back on it, we learned a lot lessons from the games that we didn't quite win. And that's actually allowed us to mature as a group and get to this point.

"I think what's really great is that we've won it here at Ashton Gate and not on the bus back from Sunderland!

"We just parked any talk of it [the title]. Today was about making sure that we played well, we're just competitors that wanted to win this game.”

Season Tickets for Bristol City Women’s 2023/24 Barclays Women’s Super League campaign will go on sale from 10am on Monday, April 24th.

Following City Women’s crowning as Champions at Ashton Gate, the club are delighted to confirm the world-class stadium will become the primary home venue for Lauren Smith’s side throughout the 2023/24 season.

The best way for supporters to follow the Robins’ top-flight journey is with a Season Ticket which are priced at £80 for adults and £50 for Under-12s, who get the additional benefit of a free junior outfield replica shirt.

Global superstars of the women’s game will be welcomed to BS3 for all 11 home leagues fixtures.

Two FA Continental Cup group fixtures are also included in the 23/24 Season Ticket price and a venue for the pair of Cup fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
