Bristol City stars Emily Syme and Sille Struck visited a Robins Foundation Pan-Disability session

The Robins Foundation’s Pan-disability football sessions provide young people and adults with a range of disabilities the opportunity to make friends, stay active, and enjoy football in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Led by experienced coaches, these sessions are designed to be fun and accessible for players of all abilities. Whether a participant wants to build fitness, develop football skills or create lasting friendships, there’s a space for all.

As part of their visit, Syme and Struck spent time getting to know the participants, parents and guardians in attendance and joined in with the session.

Each Pan-Disability session begins with a period of free play to allow participants to settle in, become comfortable, and have fun before the structured activities begin. From there, participants warm up before taking part in small-sided matches, grouped by age and ability across separate spaces. They always end on penalties!

Syme said: "It's brilliant to get down to sessions like this and see first hand how the work of the Robins Foundation is helping and providing opportunities for people in the local community."

The City players showed their skills and offered a helping hand, joining in with the small-sided games and skills session.

Struck added: "I love sessions like this, Emily and I have had a great time and I hope everyone enjoyed the session. The environment is so welcoming and it was brilliant to see so many people getting involved."

To finish the session, Struck and Syme posed for some photographs, bringing the session to a wholesome end.
