'The players are ready' - Smith.

Speaking to Robins TV, Smith said: "The players are ready, they're itching to go after the last time at Ashton Gate. They have good memories and feelings at the stadium so it's a big focus of ours as we're coming into the game off the back of a loss and they want to put it right straight away."

With Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign on sale from 10am on Monday, Smith spoke about surpassing the league record attendance - more than 4,500 are expected on Sunday - and the importance of the fanbase.

"The fact that we have smashed our record as well as the league record shows that we are ready to grow," she continued, "when there's tough moments in the game we will have that extra player with the crowd behind us and that gives us an extra boost."

On Aimee Palmer's injury, Smith added: "That's it for her this season, she's got some rehab to do but she'll be back for next season. It's a big knock losing her as she's a big part of how we play but we've played without her before and now we'll have to do it again."

Smith also spoke about how Sunday's fixture will be a great occasion for her players, especially the players that have transitioned through the club's pathway, and how the togetherness of the entire squad has contributed to the Robins' success this season.
