Vacancy: Bristol City Women Head of Goalkeeping.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Head of Goalkeeping, in collaboration with the First Team Manager, will be responsible for overseeing all Club goalkeepers and for the delivery and planning of all training and matchday sessions for the First Team.

The Head of Goalkeeping will also be responsible for developing our Youth Academy and Academy Goalkeepers and club wide goalkeeping philosophy.

SALARY AND CONTRACTUAL STATUS

  • Salary: Available on request
  • Position: Permanent part-time, 23 hours per week (0.6fte). This role will involve weekend work
  • Location: Stoke Gifford Stadium, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College, WISE Campus, BS34 8LP

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To attend all pitch training sessions, planning/review sessions and matches for the First Team
  • Support the Technical Director in creating a pathway for goalkeepers through the Club from U10s to the First Team
  • Lead on the recruitment of goalkeepers for the Club
  • To assist the First Team Manager at training and matches as required
  • To act as an ambassador for the Club and all its stakeholders/partners
  • To follow all Club policies and to implement best practice in all areas
  • To work closely with the First Team Manager to ensure the Club’s values, philosophy and playing style are carried across all the age groups
  • To liaise with National team coaches where relevant
  • To carry out any other tasks required by the Head of Women’s Football or First Team Manager

  • BCWFC First Team Manager
  • BCWFC Head of Women’s Football

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • UEFA B Goalkeeping Licence
  • Valid driving licence
  • FA enhanced CRC
  • Knowledge and experience of coaching goalkeepers in women’s football
  • Experience of develop young female goalkeepers in an elite environment
  • Experience of planning and delivering sessions and matchdays

Desirable

  • UEFA A Goalkeeping Licence
  • UEFA A Outfield Licence
