To lead, whilst working within a multi-faceted team of staff, the planning and coaching processes in maximising the physical performance of all first team players on an individual basis, within a team environment

- Position: Permanent full-Time 40 hours per week. This role will involve weekend work
- Location: Stoke Gifford Stadium, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College, WISE Campus, BS34 8LP
- Design and Lead all pre-training and pre-match warm ups.
- Design and Deliver all gym sessions, ensuring that every individual players needs’ are met
- Proactively lead on all hydration, nutrition and supplement strategies.
- Work alongside the Physio/Sports Therapist, to ensure Return to Play (RTP) plans are carried out effectively.
- Daily, Weekly and Cyclical Load Monitoring – past, current and future loading
- Design and Monitor player ‘readiness to train’ protocols
- Input into the Periodised Training Plan
- Lead on any off-season planning and programming – include the monitoring of it
- Liaise with National Teams pre and post-camp regards loading & wellbeing
- To organise fitness testing at appropriate times throughout the season
- Carry out any other appropriate tasks as requested by the First Team Manager

- A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in sports science or a related discipline
- Relevant professional body accreditation (e.g. UKSCA, BASES, NSCA CSCS)
- Experience in delivering physical performance coaching in elite sport
- Excellent academic and applied knowledge of contemporary practice in physical performance development
- Track record of successfully integrating into established and developing coaching teams
- Previous experience of work within football (desirable)
- Previous experience of working with female athletes (desirable)
- FA Intermediate First Aid in Football Level 2 (EFAiF) (essential)
- FA enhanced CRC (essential)
- Valid driver’s licence
