The club’s UEFA Champions League success in 2014, beating Raheny United and FC Barcelona has resulted in the Vixens gaining 5 places in the rankings to 13th. Bristol Academy are now the third placed highest English team in the rankings, behind Arsenal and Birmingham.

The ranking is calculated the same as the FIFA Women's World Ranking for National teams. Using matches from The FA Women’s Super League and the UEFA Womens Champions league to calculate the Vixens score.

The club is looking forward to the 2015 season, with the Champions League Quarter-Final games against Frankfurt in March and WSL campaign also commencing in the Spring.
