'We got what we deserved' - Smith.

After a clinical display in their 3-0 victory over Durham the Robins leap frogged the Wildcats in the FA Womens Championship table to sit in fourth pace.

Record breaking brace from Abi Harrison and a late goal from Aggie Beever-Jones secured all three points.

Speaking to Robins TV, Smith said: “We've gone out and really put a performance in today and in the first half especially we've kept the ball, moved it quickly and picked out a few of their weaknesses in their backline.

"The second half was really important because Durham don't give up, they have came back from 2-0 down before so it was important that we put that second half defensive display on. Every player from front to back did this and got exactly what they deserved so I'm really pleased.

"Every player put a shift in out of possession today to make sure we keep that clean sheet."

After netting in the first ten minutes against the Wildcats Harrison became Bristol City Women's all-time record league goalscorer.

Lauren added: "She does it week in week out for us, she'll be the one that scores the goal then as you seen today she's the one that clears the lines with headers.

"She battles hard and absolutely deserves this for her work rate, leadership and everything she does for us as a team. I'm sure there is plenty more to come from here."
