A spirited second-half performance from the Robins saw them come from a goal behind to claim a point on the road at Tottenham Hotspur, but Bryson and her City teammates know they can’t afford to be chasing games during the season run-in.

“The schedule has been busy but having a whole week to run into the game is massive for us,” said Bryson.
“It’s been a big focus for us [to start well]. It needs to start as soon as the first whistle goes because we can’t afford to wait to the second half and be chasing games or even a goal behind, we have to perform from the get-go.
“Every game in the WSL is a big test but I’m confident in the girls and we’re all confident in each other. You can see that in training, and you can see that in the performances on the pitch, it’s about us taking that into Sunday now.”
The Robins last met the Blues back in October, an encounter which saw Birmingham run out 4-0 victors at Twerton Park.
However, Bryson insists Sunday’s showdown at Solihull will be a far cry from their previous meeting, citing the Robins’ shift in mindset as a key factor in the equation this time around.
She added: “It will be a totally different game. We didn’t start well as a team at the beginning of the season but our mindset has changed, the results have started to swing our way and we need to turn that into three points this weekend.
“In the past we would have put ourselves on the back foot if we conceded a goal early on, but we now have the confidence needed to know we can get ourselves back into the game.
“The mindset has changed. We’re going to win games, it’s just about us putting in that effort on the pitch and having each other’s back. We won’t give up on this.”
