Palmer was one of the standout performers in City’s 5-1 win over Sheffield United at the Robins High Performance Centre, with the captain grabbing two goals and two assists.
It was the Robins’ biggest win of the season so far in front of the spirited City fans, and Palmer has urged her squad to keep pushing their performance levels higher throughout the next block of fixtures.
“We wanted to back up our performance at Reading and show that it wasn't just one result,” said Palmer.
“We wanted to really show the league what we're made of. We're not really happy with how we started, so we really want to go into this next block of fixtures and take out performance to the next level.
“We have quite a few fixtures coming up within the next couple of weeks and they're all games that we believe we can get three points from, so it's a good starting point for us."
