Having stepped off the bench against both Sunderland and Southampton in recent weeks, Bull highlighted the importance of cup fixtures within the calendar.
“I think cup games are exciting because it gives players chances,” she explained.
“We can rest players and give others opportunities to show what they’re about.
“We had a good run in this tournament last season, beating Reading before getting to the quarter-final and playing Manchester City which was really exciting.”

The midfielder, who featured heavily in 2021/22, is yet to start this season due to injury but is now ready to fight for her place on the team sheet.
“I had a bit of a knock in pre-season against Leicester, so I’ve been out of it for a few weeks, but the physios have been great so I’m feeling fit,” she said.
“It’s all about progressing my minutes now and hopefully I’ll be back on the scoresheet before long too.
“We made some good signing over the summer and there’s healthy competition which is great for us as players.
“Every session we have to be at our best because there’s always someone at your back trying to take your shirt.”
Sunday’s visitors will be hoping to put their most recent trip to the High Performance Centre behind them this time around, Lauren Smith’s side emerging comfortable winners back in February.
Bull said: “I’ve got fond memories of playing Palace here.
“I scored inside the first 45 seconds, and we went on to win 4-0.
“We know they’re going to be a good side though and they’re up there with us in the league so we need to be at our best to get a result - hopefully we can put on a show on Sunday.”
