IN-SEAT ALCOHOL PILOT

Bristol City’s pioneering approach to enhancing the matchday experience has taken another step forward as fans are now able to drink in their seats for home league games at Ashton Gate for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

City are taking part in a pilot along with three other women’s football clubs and venues – Birmingham City (St Andrews Stadium), Newcastle United (Kingston Park), and Southampton (St Mary’s Stadium) – to allow alcohol to be consumed in view of the pitch.

The pilot will be implemented from Sunday's game and will remain for the second half of the 2024/25 Barclay’s Women’s Championship which includes the following fixtures:

  • Sunday, March 30th, 2025: Sheffield United (1pm kick-off)
  • Sunday, April 27th, 2025: Sunderland AFC (1pm kick-off)
