Yorston Suffers ACL Injury.

The midfielder sustained the injury in the first five minutes of the Vixens’ 3-0 away win at London Bees.

City’s medical team have referred Yorston to lead orthopaedic consultant in ACL reconstruction and sports medicine Jonathan Webb, who will assist the 32-year-old's rehabilitation. 

Manager Willie Kirk said: “Losing Coz is a big blow for the team because her experience is invaluable to our young squad.

“However, after getting to know her over the last few months, she will still have a massive influence this season and her objective of helping the club achieve promotion to WSL1 has not changed.

“I have no doubt she will be back on the pitch as soon as she can and will leave no stone unturned during her rehab.

"Her professionalism will shine through during this period, and I look forward to having her available on the pitch next season.”
