Ziu joins on loan.

Bristol City have signed Jessica Ziu on a season-long loan from West Ham United.

The 23-year-old midfielder joins Bristol City as Charlotte Healy’s 10^th summer signing.

Born in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ziu progressed through the ranks at Shelbourne FC and made her senior debut at just 16 years old in 2018.

After 22 goals in 70 league appearances for the Irish side, Ziu made the switch to West Ham United in September 2022.

Representing Republic of Ireland at international level, Ziu made her debut for the Girls in Green in 2018.

On signing for Bristol City, Ziu said: “I’m just excited to get on the pitch and meet all the fans.

“It’s a really exciting journey ahead for the WSL2 and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to Bristol City.”

Head Coach Charlotte Healy added: “Jess is a fantastic player with great experience both domestically and internationally.

“Those experiences will help us this season and I’m so excited to see her back on the pitch after her injury.

“She’s an exciting player who I think the fans will really enjoy watching- we’re really excited to have a player of her calibre here on loan with us.”
